Welcome to my Portfolio!
Hello, I’m Cristina Recasens. I have a Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Cross-platform Application Development and work as an app developer and data analyst. I’m also a biologist with a Master’s in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management, where I learned statistics and modeling using R and QGiS (UAB).
I have always been passionate about science, mathematics, and computer science, which has shaped my interdisciplinary profile. I love seeing an idea come to life on the screen and discovering unexpected connections between data.
I have one year of experience with Python and solid knowledge of Java and SQL. I enjoy challenges and constant learning, and I adapt quickly!
Think I’m a good fit? Let’s talk!

Master’s degree focused on statistical studies and modeling applied to biodiversity management. Thanks to this master’s, I acquired a solid foundation in statistics and modeling through the application of various models and tools (such as R and QGIS).
September 2011 - June 2015
University degree in General Biology, which provided me with broad knowledge on various topics related to life and science, including studies in bioinformatics, statistics, and mathematics.
